Denver didn’t have a vegan salon in 2013…

deep diving into ingredient lists & creative internet searches led me to a few vegan friendly product lines. With those options I was able to open Ametrine downtown in it’s first location at the end of 2014!

this provided Denver with the first fully vegan salon, as well as another gender neutral + affirming hair space.

over the years, more companies have moved towards both sustainable practices and inclusivity. New companies are forming each year with these focuses in mind!

due to increased product options, Ametrine now carries items from several small batch businesses, including stylist-created Cult+King and Afterworld Organics :)

in August of 2020 Ametrine Collective moved into the current light filled Speer neighborhood location at 1st and Penn!

street parking is easy, the neighboring businesses are also women owned & the space is almost 3x the size of the previous location in the Santa Fe Arts District.

as always, our time together is one on one - providing us both with a safe space + less overwhelming environment.

I'm so fucking grateful for all the support I’ve received from the most amazing clients over the past 10+ years in business!

current beings, can’t wait to see you again <3

new folks, looking forward to meeting you soon :)

all my best,

kat

I encourage people to make sustainable changes to their daily care routines!

My hope is with small swaps we can lessen our impact on the environment & end animal testing.
